Good morning all! Fred here with a quick reminder that the brand new PlayStation 3 is in stores today!
As announced at Tokyo Game Show last week, the smaller, sleeker chassis is available with either a whopping 500GB of storage or as a more economical 12GB model. The 500GB unit is available as a FIFA 13 bundle priced at €299.99, while the 12G version sells for €229.99 as a standalone package. Look out for a range of different bundles later in the year.
If you plump for the 12GB model and want to add extra storage, you can connect a 2.5 inch SATA internal hard drive via an official Mounting Bracket, or pick up an official PlayStation 250GB internal HDD.
It’s a fantastic-looking machine – take a look at the clip below for a closer look at the system in all its stylish, curvy glory.
To tie in with the launch, a new range of budget-priced PlayStation 3 software also arrives on shelves, including classics such as God of War III, Uncharted Drake’s Fortune and LittleBigPlanet.
See our announcement post last week for a full list of titles and prices.
